2011 Gala Celebration
This September marks the 5 year anniversary of Youth Speak Collective obtaining a 501c3 status. Five years ago, Youth Speak worked with just a handful of high school students who wanted to make a difference in their community and now with over 20 staff serving 500 youth a day, Youth Speak Collective wants to celebrate the successes and milestones with those who believed and supported our work.
We invite you to attend our event: Imagine. Inspire. Ignite: Celebrating 5 Years of Youth-led Action. Together, with our youth, board of directors, staff and volunteers Youth Speak Collective will mark this celebration with a dinner on September 24, 2011 at La Plaza in downtown Los Angeles.
The event promises to be a one-of-a kind evening with six interactive demo stations to make our guests feel like a kid again, celebrity guest appearances, live music and art, and over 250 supporters celebrating with us.
